The Start of a Beautiful Thing

Welcome to Adam and Elizabeth's blog: "Put Some Nunley On It."  You might ask us, "Nunleys, why start a blog?"  I, Adam will answer.

There are five different reasons that come to mind:
1.  I said to myself,  "Self, starting a blog would be fun."
2.  To show all people how to "Put Some Nunley on It"
3.  Keep Friends up to date with new stuff in our life.
4.  To become famous.....no seriously that would be alright.
5.  For Barbarians and Vikings!

So where does "Put Some Nunley On It" come from and what does it mean?

First, the story of where PSNOI (Put Some Nunley On It) came from.  PSNOI started in college. I was attending a FCA retreat, called FCA Advance.  They call it advance because you should "advance", not "retreat" as a Christian (get it?)!  Anyways, I was attending Advance with some of my best college friends, Justin, Aaron, Brandon, Andrew, and Landon aka Men of EDNA (any I left out that came, I am sorry, just post and I will add you).  We arrived at Advance and we were all giddy to have a great time.  As we were unpacking and carrying bags to our room,  I had grabbed more than needed (like 12 or so probably) and was carrying them to our cabin.  I probably asked for some help, although it wasn't needed. That is when my friend Aaron yelled "Put Some Nunley On It!"  PSNOI then became a regular phrase in college whenever someone (especially me), was struggling with something they were told to "Put Some Nunley On It."

Lastly, you might ask "How can 'Put Some Nunley On It' affect me and how do I apply this concept to my life?"  Basically PSNOI is anything related to awesomeness, a.k.a. when someone or something is awesome.  Since the Nunleys define what it means to be awesome, another definition of PSNOI could read, "Someone or something resembling the things the Nunleys hold valuable."  You will see what those are as we post.

Elizabeth and I will both be posting on the blog.  Elizabeth will edit them all because I stink at writing.

Always remember to "Put Some Nunley On It!"  We would like to hear how you apply PSNOI in your everyday life.  Comment here and let us know.
